How To Sign Into Salesforce
Horizontal has proactively integrated Salesforce with our OKTA SSO as the primary Identity Provider for ease of access and authentication management in alignment with Salesforce security requirements. All Salesforce licensed users must authenticate via OKTA to access Horizontal’s Salesforce Production Org.
Salesforce SSO Authentication – What you need to do
1. Verify that you are already authenticated into OKTA via horizontal.okta.com using your Horizontal credentials.
2. Go to My Apps located in the upper left pane of the OKTA portal page;See attached.
3. Choose the Salesforce.com (PROD) app from the lists of apps that have been assigned to you.
4. Always follow this process moving forward for access to Horizontal’s Salesforce Production Org.
Legacy Method Of Authentication – Deprecated in 2023
The legacy method of authentication for Horizontals Salesforce Production Org has been deprecated. Access via the legacy URL is prohibited. Access via OKTA SSO in mandatory and you can no longer access Salesforce directly via the highlighted URL below from your web browser.
